BONO Property Group Founder Awarded by SAIBPP as a Leading Woman in Property

In a celebration of excellence and leadership in the property sector, Mrs. Patricia Tshitema, the founder of BoNO Property Group, was honored with the prestigious “Leading Woman in Property” award by the South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners (SAIBPP). This accolade was presented during the SAIBPP Annual Convention 2024, held at the Durban ICC from June 26th to 27th. The convention, themed “Levelling the Playground,” gathered industry leaders, professionals, and stakeholders to discuss and promote inclusivity and equity in the property investment space.

Mrs. Tshitema also took the stage as a speaker at the event, delivering an inspiring talk on “Power in Numbers – Key Elements for Successful Collaborations.” Through her speech, she emphasized the interconnected nature of the industry, the transformative value of collaboration, the importance of strategic partnerships in driving change, and the strength of understanding and building a power team. Her insights resonated with many, highlighting the critical role of teamwork and cooperation in achieving success in the property sector.

“I certainly believe that collaborating is the key to fast-tracking transformation in the property investment space,” Mrs. Tshitema stated, encapsulating her vision for a more inclusive and dynamic industry.

Adding this prestigious award to her extensive biography, Mrs. Tshitema left a heartfelt message for those who have been following her journey. She quoted Paulo Coelho, saying, “When you decide to pursue your legend, the universe will conspire to help you – The Alchemist,” and encouraged her audience to dare to dream and take a chance on themselves. She further added, “Opportunities are plenty; ready yourself each day and the world will be your oyster. START NOW; there is no better time than today.”

In her closing remarks, Mrs. Tshitema expressed her gratitude to the SAIBPP organization for the recognition. “It is my greatest honour today to thank the SAIBPP Organisation for this prestigious recognition. This is for all women. We are leveling the playing field for more women to come into the property investment space. The job is only starting, and I am excited for what’s yet to come.”
