CALLING ALL EMERGING VISUAL ARTISTS!
We are searching for South Africa’s newest visual arts talent, could this be you?
We encourage all South African visual artists over the age of 18 who have not yet had a solo exhibition to enter. Visual artists who have had a solo exhibition for academic purposes (such as a master’s degree exhibition) are also eligible to enter. Entries are accepted in various artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, video art, and installations.
Submissions for the 2026 Sasol New Signatures Visual Arts competition will take place on Tuesday, 9 June and Wednesday, 10 June 2026 at eight regional submission points across the country.
