ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP
An internship opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified individual to join the Komati
Basin Water Authority- Water Management team as an Environmental Intern.
Minimum Requirements:-
- A Diploma in Natural Sciences (Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Water Care/Water Technology or equivalent field).
- A minimum of one year experience/exposure in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem monitoring, and water quality analysis will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge and application of ISO 17025:2017 Standard, Good Laboratory Practise, LIMS, ISO14001 and SANS241:2015.
- Good communication skills, Computer Literacy and ability to work under pressure.
- The position will be based at Maguga Dam in Eswatini however, there will be a lot of travelling between Eswatini and South Africa, therefore the incumbent must have a valid travel document.
- South African and Eswatini citizens will be preferred, guided by the KOBWA Policy on staff recruitment from both member states.
